What the fuck was that ending?
I feel a faint dissatisfaction with this season and it was mostly on the writing side, mainly that it didn't really feel like there was a lot going on conflict wise. like characters would have challenges sure but there was like a constant feeling of 'oh actually nobody feels that way you were just imagining it' and no, idk, sense of emotional catharsis and release.
the fact that it was all really well animated, directed and looks gorgeous kinda just makes this disappointment more acute. still, there were some pretty funny scenes (though nothing as simultaneously hilarious and cringe as the love hotel scene from s1), the love of cosplay shines through and i love the OP, so eh. i'll watch whatever comes next.
